Accountant - Private Equity
DMC Recruitment is thrilled to be partnering with a leading and highly regarded fund manager in their search for an accounting graduate or early-career accountant to join their team.
This role presents an exceptional opportunity to join a leader in this space, sitting within one of their growth-focused funds, gaining a broad skill set across fund accounting, with considerable opportunity for growth and internal progression.
In this role, you will have the support and mentorship of a highly experienced and tenured leadership team, ensuring you are given the right tools to learn quickly, build strong foundations and accelerate your professional development.
In this role, you will; - Deliver monthly and quarterly fund reporting across a portfolio of private equity vehicles
- Build strong foundations in NAVs, unit pricing and investor reporting
- Gain hands-on exposure to capital calls, distributions and investor transactions
- Work closely with external administrators, auditors and tax advisors
- Partner with various internal teams to support fund operations
- Respond to investor queries and contribute to high-quality reporting outputs
Key Skills/Experience we are looking for:
- Tertiary qualifications in Commerce or Business, with a major in Accounting
- Strong Credit / Distinction average preferred
- Prior experience is not required; however, internships or 1-2 years of corporate experience would be favourable
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work within a fast-paced environment, take initiative, ambitious and motivated
