The Role
This is an entry-level technical sales support position designed for someone looking to build a career in solution consulting and presales within the IT infrastructure sector.
Key Responsibilities - Participate in client discovery sessions, technical workshops, and site assessments to understand infrastructure needs
- Support the development of technical solutions that align customer requirements with available products and services
- Assist in articulating solution value and return on investment to both technical and business stakeholders
- Contribute to the preparation of technical proposals, RFP/RFI responses, and pricing documentation
- Review tender documentation to ensure technical specifications and compliance requirements are addressed
- Collaborate with sales, engineering, and delivery teams to validate solution feasibility
- Coordinate with vendors and distributors on technical specifications and product compatibility
- Maintain current knowledge of networking technologies including SD-WAN, network automation, security, and hybrid cloud
- Provide market feedback to internal teams on customer needs and competitive positioning
What You'll Need - Genuine interest in network infrastructure technologies such as routing, switching, wireless, and security
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to present technical concepts clearly
- Analytical approach with strong attention to detail
- Collaborative working style suited to fast-paced environments
- Prior experience in presales, technical support, or customer-facing roles advantageous but not essential
- Relevant IT qualifications or certifications beneficial
