This is a front-line business development opportunity where you'll play a key role in generating and qualifying new sales opportunities. You'll engage with prospective clients, uncover business challenges, and connect decision-makers with the right technology specialists. This position is ideal for a proactive sales professional who enjoys building relationships, opening doors, and creating opportunities.
Our client is a well-established Australian tech solutions provider backed by a global IT services business. They design and deliver enterprise-grade networking and infrastructure solutions for organisations across a range of industries.
You will:
- Execute outbound prospecting campaigns
- Identify and engage prospective clients within target organisations
- Qualify inbound and outbound opportunities before passing them to Account Executives
- Secure meetings with senior business leaders, IT managers and executive stakeholders
- Collaborate with marketing to support lead generation campaigns and nurture activities
To be successful in the role you will have:
- Experience in sales development, lead generation or business development within a B2B environment
- Confidence initiating conversations with new prospects and identifying business needs
- Experience using CRM platforms, ideally HubSpot
- The ability to engage professionally with senior business and technology stakeholders
