Commercial Finance Manager - Sales | ANZ
About the Opportunity
DMC Recruitment is partnering exclusively with a well-established consumer goods business with a significant presence across Australia and New Zealand.
This is a high-impact commercial finance role sitting at the heart of the sales function. As Commercial Finance Manager – Sales, you will be the primary finance business partner to the ANZ Sales leadership team, owning channel profitability, trade investment and commercial decision-making across the business.
Key Responsibilities - Own and manage the Channel P&L, ensuring alignment to financial targets and integrated business planning cycles
- Partner closely with Sales to support delivery of the strategic business plan
- Drive commercial insights and risk management strategies to inform senior decision-making
- Manage and optimise trade spend within a compliant, fact-based investment framework
- Forecast trade spend and proactively flag risks to the Sales Director
- Lead cross-functional collaboration to deliver effective commercial outcomes
- Support monthly and quarterly reporting rhythms and maintain SOPs across key finance processes
What We're Looking For: - A degree in Finance, Accounting or Business, with CA, CPA or MBA qualification
- Experience at Manager level in commercial finance, financial analysis or sales operations — ideally within a consumer goods or FMCG environment
- A proven track record managing Channel P&Ls and trade spend, with advanced Excel skills and solid ERP/financial systems experience
- Strong communication and stakeholder influencing skills, with the ability to bring structure to complex and ambiguous situations
- Familiarity with the Australian retail and wholesale landscape will be well regard
