Commercial Finance Manager
DMC Recruitment is thrilled to be partnering with a leading FMCG business in their search for a Commercial Finance Manager to join their team. This role sits with a subsidiary within the group, with this particular business being based and operating from Tamworth. And thus, provides an exciting opportunity for someone who is keen to be part of a large, diversified group with a strong footprint across manufacturing, distribution and supply chain.
This role will be overseeing a small team and will be responsible for the financial performance of the business, reporting into the Head of Finance. The role will provide for plenty of ownership with the opportunity to grow with the business as well. While this role is based in Tamworth, we are open to Sydney based candidates who are willing to do 1-2 weeks per month in Tamworth as well.
In this role, you will:
- Liaise with the Group's leadership team as the main POC for the business, providing financial insights to support decision making
- Own FP&A processes including budgeting and forecasting and long-range planning
- Ensure timely and accurate month-end reporting and lead on statutory reporting, audit and technical accounting matters.
- Identify and implement process and automation improvements to improve efficiencies, accuracy and timeliness of financial outputs.
About you:
- CA/CPA Qualified
- Proven experience across Commercial Finance / Business Partnering role, developing relationships with non-finance stakeholders and influencing across all levels
- Strong financial accounting knowledge with experience supporting audits, governance and compliance.
