This Role
This is a senior, autonomous regional leadership role — not a coordinator position. You will own the end-to-end compliance program across the South Pacific, lead the regional Compliance Committee, and partner directly with senior stakeholders to shape culture and manage risk across the region.
This role will particularly suit a senior compliance professional looking to
move from advisory / practice into an in-house leadership role with real accountability, visibility and influence.
This is a permanent full-time opportunity with high visibility and genuine strategic input.
Key Responsibilities - Own and drive the South Pacific compliance program end-to-end
- Align regional initiatives with global compliance strategy
- Manage risk, policy, training, monitoring and investigations
- Lead the regional Compliance Committee
- Develop and mentor a direct report (Compliance Analyst)
- Engage with senior leadership and navigate sensitive matters with discretion
- Represent the function externally via industry associations
About You
You are a compliance professional with a strong technical foundation and the confidence to operate autonomously.
This role is well suited to candidates from Big 4 or professional services, particularly those with experience advising clients in regulated sectors, who are now seeking ownership of an in-house program.
- A proven track record in compliance — medical devices, pharma, or healthcare clients preferred.
- Proven experience auditing and managing compliance programs.
- Confident influencing at senior leadership level
- Strong business acumen — comfortable with financials, budgeting, and resourcing
- Able to operate independently in a complex, matrixed global environment
