The role Reporting to the Finance Director, you'll lead cost planning, forecasting and control across a large-value construction project. That means tight budget management, early risk identification, and clear financial insight that drives real commercial decisions — not just slides for the next steerco.
- Own cost planning, forecasting and control end to end
- Deliver variance analysis and reporting to senior stakeholders
- Partner with project managers to maintain budgets and flag risks early
- Drive a cost performance culture across project teams
- Maintain data integrity across project management and financial systems
What you'll bring
- Proven cost control experience on major capital or infrastructure projects
- Strong background in cost planning, budget management and financial reporting
- Degree in Finance, Accounting or Engineering
- Commercially sharp with strong stakeholder management skills
- Able to cut through complexity and communicate with clarity
- Comfortable in fast-paced, high-accountability environments
