Finance Business Partner - Infrastructure Projects
DMC is partnering with one of NSW's most significant infrastructure businesses—an organisation delivering multiple high-impact, multi-billion-dollar projects with long-term consequence for the state.
The Role
As Finance Business Partner, you'll be the financial conscience across a portfolio of infrastructure projects—providing insight, challenge and guidance that drives confident decision-making and strong commercial outcomes.
Working closely with project, commercial and senior finance stakeholders, you will:
- Own end-to-end financial management across multiple concurrent infrastructure projects.
- Lead monthly close, forecasting and budgeting with accuracy and discipline.
- Partner with project leaders to optimise performance and drive accountability.
- Deliver clear, forward-looking financial insights to senior leadership.
- Maintain and enhance financial models and performance dashboards across the portfolio.
- Drive continuous improvement across financial processes and reporting.
This is a role where finance genuinely influences outcomes—not just reports on them.
About You - CA/CPA with a proven track record partnering on large-scale infrastructure projects—ideally within a regulated environment (energy, utilities, transport or similar).
- Strong business partnering background with solid financial modelling, forecasting and analytical capability.
- Confident communicator who engages senior non-finance stakeholders with clarity (Directors & GMs).
- Proficient across reporting and modelling tools—PowerPoint, Excel and Power BI.
- Comfortable managing competing priorities across multiple projects while collaborating at senior leadership level.
- Proactive, pragmatic and solutions-focused.
