Finance Manager - Infrastructure
A large infrastructure business is hiring a Finance Manager to be embedded within their projects function, reporting directly to the Finance Director. This isn't a support role. You'll own the financial control framework for capital programs and present to board-level executives every month.
About the Role
You'll be the financial steward across the full project lifecycle — owning the monthly close, leading cost management reviews across all workstreams, maintaining budget governance, managing forecasting and EAC processes, and ensuring the integrity of reporting from project delivery team through to executive level.
The business is in an active phase of major capital investment, meaning this role carries genuine weight and visibility from day one. You'll also mentor and develop project accountants within your team.
About You - CA or CPA qualified
- 5+ years in a major projects environment — infrastructure, energy, utilities or large-scale capital works preferred
- Proven experience managing financial reporting on projects of $1bn+
- Strong cost management and financial controls background, including asset capitalisation
- Comfortable presenting to and influencing senior executives
- Experience in regulated environments is an advantage
Why Apply - Direct exposure to board-level reporting from day one
- Genuine mentoring and team development responsibilities
- Long-term project pipeline — this isn't a role that disappears in 12 months
