Financial Accountant | MedTech
DMC is thrilled to be partnering with a fast‑growing, listed, global medical technology organisation in their search for a Financial Accountant to join their team.
This is a broad, high‑impact role offering exposure to senior leadership and the opportunity to develop technical capability across a complex, multinational environment. You’ll work directly with the Financial Controller and CFO, gain hands‑on ownership of key processes. Working within a small but high-performing team, this role will also provide excellent opportunity to take on more responsibility and gain broad exposure and involvement across the function.
This opportunity is ideal for an ambitious accountant with 3–5 years’ experience who is CA/CPA qualified (or nearing completion) and ready to accelerate their commercial and technical development.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Financial Reporting & Month‑End - Own core month‑end deliverables, including timely and accurate reporting
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and key supporting schedules
- Manage revenue recognition, contract accounting and intangibles
- Oversee R&D accounting, employee provisions and accruals
- Handle intercompany transactions, eliminations and consolidations
Audit & Compliance - Support half‑year and year‑end audits
- Assist with financial statement preparation and disclosure notes
Commercial Exposure & Leadership - Work closely with the FC and CFO across a broad range of strategic and operational tasks
- Review offshore team outputs and guide lower‑risk month‑end areas
- Progress towards full ownership of the month‑end cycle and monthly results
- Step into additional responsibilities as desired — the scope grows with you
Experience / Skills We Are Looking For: - CA/CPA qualified
- 3–5 years’ experience in financial accounting or professional services
- Proactive, curious and eager to take on broader responsibilities
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
