This is an FP&A-focused commercial finance role with a strong emphasis on cost efficiency, business partnering, and decision support. The position sits within a high-calibre commercial finance team that works closely with operational leaders responsible for delivering and maintaining essential network infrastructure.
The role You’ll partner with operational stakeholders to help ensure funding is planned, tracked and deployed efficiently, while balancing regulatory requirements with real-world operational outcomes.
Key responsibilities include: - Budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis across large, complex cost bases
- Partnering with operational leaders to understand cost drivers and challenge assumptions
- Delivering financial insights and reporting to support operational decision-making
- Supporting medium- and long-term planning by linking activity, assets and financial outcomes
- Ensuring spend aligns with regulatory frameworks and funding expectation
About you:
- CA / CPA Qualified
- First mover from Practice or 3-5 years commercial experience
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills and confidence partnering with non-finance teams
- Curious, analytical and motivated by improving cost efficiency and outcomes
