Our client, a leading global investment manager is looking for a highly energetic and enthusiastic Marketing Communications Specialist to join its team in Sydney, focusing on the planning, production, and delivery of content and product material in the APAC region.
As the Marketing Communications Specialist, you will play a vital role in driving traffic, engagement, and member experience for its clients and prospects. You will collaborate with local channel marketers, product managers, investment specialists, and subject matter experts to deliver relevant communications in support of the marketing plan.
Key Responsibilities: - Planning: Maintain the APAC regional communications calendar, structure and categorise content, and manage production workflows. Align content plans with global and other regional content pipelines. Identify content to support priority products and solutions.
- Global Content and Product Marketing Initiatives: Participate in global working groups that involve content and product initiatives with impacts across the APAC region.
- Editorial: Source, develop, edit, and publish various types of content, including market outlooks, blog posts, case studies, articles, podcasts, videos, posters, infographics, and more.
- Web and Social Media: Manage digital content hubs, including the research library, country blogs, and supporting social channels such as LinkedIn.
- Sharing: Provide regular email updates to the broader go-to-market stakeholders on planned, produced, and distributed content and collateral. Establish priorities in close liaison with the APAC marketing team.
Skills/Attributes Required: - 5+ years of financial services or marketing communications experience.
- Excellent writing and editing skills.
- Curiosity, keenness, and willingness to learn quickly.
- Mature and professional attitude.
- Team-player, comfortable working alone and with others.
- Commercial awareness and business acumen.
- Ability to manage time, communicate effectively, and maintain professionalism under pressure.
- High levels of self-motivation, pro-active attitude, and strong interpersonal skills.
- Education/Certifications: University degree required (Journalism, Literary Studies, Media, Commerce, Business, or Marketing preferred).
