Project Manager - Project Review - Construction
Our client, a major player in Australia's infrastructure sector, has established a dedicated team to conduct a comprehensive Ex Post review of a significant capital project. They require an experienced Project Manager to coordinate this critical review process and deliver stakeholder outcomes.
This is a high-profile, time-sensitive contract requiring exceptional coordination, governance expertise, and stakeholder management capabilities.
The Role
As Project Manager, you will manage and coordinate the review team itself. You will:
- Project manage the Ex Post review team process and track progress across all workstreams
- Develop steering committee reports and chair review meetings
- Create and maintain workstream plans with internal teams
- Support narrative development for executive papers, briefings, and regulatory submissions
- Coordinate internal and external communications and stakeholder engagement
- Manage the Ex Post review budget and resource allocation
- Establish governance frameworks and reporting cadences to ensure transparency
- Identify and mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies within the review process
- Deliver review outcomes within the contracted timeframe
About You - Proven track record coordinating working on internal transformation Projects in Finance, Operations or IT) with experience in complex stakeholder environments
- Experience managing review processes, governance investigations, post-implementation assessments, or corporate PMO functions
- Strong background in project coordination, committee management, and executive reporting
- Experience working with regulatory bodies and preparing compliance documentation
- Exceptional communication and narrative development skills with ability to engage at all levels
- Track record of delivering in politically sensitive or high-scrutiny environments
