Sales Controller - ANZ - Consumer Business
This well-established FMCG business operates across the ANZ grocery landscape, partnering with major retailers in highly promotional, fast-paced channels.
A Sales Controller (ANZ) is now sought to lead channel performance and trade spend effectiveness, working closely with Sales to ensure investment delivers strong returns, shape pricing and promotional decisions, and drive profitable growth across key grocery accounts.
Reporting to the Finance Director you will:
- Lead channel P&L reporting and performance tracking
- Manage and optimise trade spend planning, forecasting and analysis
- Partner with Sales to influence pricing, promotions and customer strategy
- Evaluate promotional effectiveness and ROI across grocery channels
- Provide clear, actionable insights to support commercial decisions
- Support forecasting, budgeting and planning cycles
- Ensure strong financial controls and compliance across processes
- Deliver ad-hoc analysis to support business initiatives
Skills & experience Essential
- Experience within FMCG, grocery or consumer-driven environments
- Strong background in trade spend management and analysis
- Proven ability to influence commercial and financial outcomes
- Experience working with Sales and cross-functional stakeholders
- Advanced analytical capability with strong Excel/system skills
- Ability to simplify complex data into clear insights
