You'll sit in a lean Head Office team, working directly with the CFO across a genuinely complex multi-entity, multi-branch structure — 15 branches, state-based entities, trusts, the lot. What you'll be doing: - Supporting month-end close — reconciliations, adjusting entries, balance sheet work
- Assisting with inventory accounting and verification across multiple branch locations
- Helping prepare financial reports and variance commentary for branch managers and leadership
- Supporting budgeting and forecasting preparation
- Getting exposure to cost analysis, working capital, and commercial decision-making as you settle in
- Working across multiple entities — state-based structures, trusts, group reporting
What you'll bring: - Solid month-end close experience
- Inventory accounting experience — essential
- A product, industrial, or distribution business background is a strong plus
- A collaborative attitude and genuine appetite to learn
- Comfort explaining numbers to non-finance stakeholders
