Senior Commercial Analyst - Supply Chain
- Location: Macquarie Park
- Salary: $135k - $145k + Super
A large, well-known Australian business with a large and complex supply chain operation is looking to appoint a Senior Commercial Analyst to partner closely with operational leadership and help drive commercial performance across warehousing, logistics and product costing.
Reporting to the Head of Commercial Finance, this role sits at the intersection of finance and operations, providing meaningful support to senior decision-makers across the supply chain function.
Key Responsibilities - Lead budgeting and forecasting activities for the Supply Chain function
- Deliver analysis and commentary on monthly performance and key operational trends
- Build financial models and business cases to support investment and strategic decisions
- Identify and evaluate cost optimisation opportunities across supply chain operations
- Partner with stakeholders to track and support improvement initiatives
- Maintain and enhance product costing models and cost analysis tools
- Develop streamlined reporting, tools and templates to improve decision-making
- Work closely with finance and operational teams to ensure robust cost accounting and reporting processes
Key Requirements - Experience in commercial finance, supply chain finance
- Exposure to FMCG, retail or another product-led environment
- Strong financial modelling and analytical capability
- Experience partnering with senior operational stakeholders
- Ability to work with large and complex data sets from multiple sources
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate analysis into commercial insights
