Senior Finance Business Partner - Infrastructure
Our Client
A leading infrastructure organisation is seeking a Senior Finance Business Partner to support a large operational division through a period of investment planning, financial oversight and regulatory engagement.
Reporting to the GM Finance, this role provides broad commercial finance support across planning, forecasting, performance analysis and investment decision-making. This opportunity will suit a commercially focused finance professional who enjoys working closely with senior stakeholders and supporting long‑term infrastructure outcomes in a regulated environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
Partnering with senior leaders to support financial planning, forecasting and performance reporting
Providing commercial insight and financial challenge across capital and operational expenditure
Supporting investment planning and business case development
Working closely with engineering, asset and project teams to ensure robust financial inputs
Contributing to the preparation of a significant regulatory funding submission, ensuring accuracy and compliance
Collaborating with specialist regulatory and modelling teams as required
Presenting clear financial insights to executive stakeholders
What You Bring
Essential:
CA or CPA qualified with strong experience in infrastructure, utilities or capital‑intensive environments
Background in senior finance business partnering or FP&A roles
Experience contributing to regulatory submissions, funding approvals or similar processes
Strong financial modelling and analytical capability
Ability to engage confidently with senior operational and executive stakeholders
Highly Regarded:
Experience within regulated utilities or infrastructure organisations
Exposure to large capital programs or asset‑intensive portfolios
Understanding of Australian regulatory frameworks
