Senior Financial Analyst - Infrastructure
DMC Recruitment is partnering on a high-impact finance opportunity with a large Australian infrastructure corporate. This role will be be part of the business partnering team that supports a wide variety of construction projects, working closely with project directors, and commercial teams across forecasting, reporting, analysis and cost management.
As a
Senior Financial Analyst, you'll play a key role in supporting the financial performance of the project, providing accurate analysis and insights to help stakeholders understand performance, manage costs and make informed decisions.
In this role you will:
- Prepare financial analysis and monthly performance reporting
- Support forecasting, budgeting and month-end processes
- Analyse project costs, expenditure and financial performance
- Assist with cost tracking, variance analysis and financial controls
- Develop and maintain financial models, reports and dashboards
- Work closely with project and commercial teams to understand financial drivers
- Identify trends, risks and opportunities through financial analysis
- Provide clear financial insights to project and finance stakeholders
- Contribute to improving financial reporting and processes
About You - CA/CPA qualified
- Experience in financial analysis within project, infrastructure or construction environments
- Strong capex budgeting and forecasting experience
- Strong financial modelling and analytical capability
- Confident working with large datasets and translating them into clear insights
- Strong stakeholder communication skills
