Senior Financial Analyst - Operations
A well established Australian manufacturer is seeking a Senior Analyst to join its operations finance team on an initial 12m FTC. This newly created role sits at the intersection of finance, manufacturing and supply chain, partnering closely with operational leaders across a network of sites.
The position has been created to provide deeper commercial insight, strengthen financial controls and support strategic initiatives across manufacturing, warehousing and distribution.
Key Responsibilities - Partner with site leaders, warehouse managers and operations teams to provide commercial and financial support.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting and month-end activities across manufacturing and distribution functions.
- Analyse manufacturing, warehousing and freight costs, identifying risks, opportunities and efficiency improvements.
- Deliver meaningful reporting and performance insights to support operational decision-making.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives through business case development, financial modelling and scenario analysis.
- Oversee inventory governance, stocktake processes and key financial controls.
- Improve reporting processes, automation and data quality across the finance function.
Key Requirements - CA/CPA qualified
- Experience in operations finance, manufacturing finance, supply chain finance or a related commercial finance role.
- Strong budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis capability.
- Previous exposure to manufacturing, logistics, warehousing or supply chain environments.
- Ability to build strong relationships with operational stakeholders and influence outcomes through insight.
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and process improvement skills.
